Kindred Apparel was birthed from my deep desire to help those less fortunate. I founded The Christian Family Network, a non-profit that aids in the transition of families from shelters to affordable housing by means of sponsorship. It is impossible to run a non-profit and make a difference without money. Donations may not always be available, but fundraisers will always be a source. Kindred Apparel is a permanent sponsor for The Christian Family Network and proceeds of shirts and accessories go towards sponsorship.

I absolutely love being a mother. God is my source of life, but He has certainly given me two sweet little blessings that push me to be my best. Life hasn't always been good. I didn't know God at one point. I adopted the ways of the world and I was consumed with anger, hurt and the feeling in inadequacy. It wasn't until I experienced a season of homelessness that I truly learned who God is. I'd sit up all night and watch my babies sleep and I'd feel like a failure. I had previously shunned God, but I could feel him tugging on my spirit. I fell in love with WHO God is, and He kept me during my struggle. It has certainly been a process, but it has given birth to a beautiful TESTIMONY." I know what it's like to lose everything and have to build from the ground up. I wish I had more people in my corner who were able to help me, because government funding wasn't available for me at that time. I hope that I can be a source of inspiration and encouragement for someone while pushing them towards Christ."
